How often do folks get a nice photo and rush to Wal-mart to try and fit it into a frame sans mat (Wal-mart used to sell pre-cut mats, but don’t anymore, probably because folks didn’t realize how important a mat is.) Eventually the photo either sticks to the glass or fades from exposure to light.

Frames aren’t just nice. They are essential! To properly display your art or needlework it needs a frame. Depending on your tastes and home decòr, you will want a wooden frame that compliments and enhances your taste and space. Wood that is craved and stained is so beautiful and lasting. Wooden frames can be repaired. Plastic or imitation wood cannot. Most of all, the frame holds the picture like your arms hold the love of your life.
Then there is the mat. Matting not only helps to draw attention to the colors in your art or needlework, it says that you care. You care that your art enhances your home; you care that your art will not be damaged; you care that the photo will not stick to the glass.
Unconsciously how you frame your art is sending a message to all who enter your abode. That message should be that “I do things the right way.” And by the way, often folks are not sure where to best display their art and how to hang it. We specialize not only in framing but in helping you hang and light your art work perfectly.
